Is Jungkook’s Telepathy Music? “The Beginning of Fifteen”|BTS JK “Begin” Translation & Analysis
🌸Introduction
Hello, this is Mayu 💜 Thank you for visiting my blog today.
In celebration of the WINGS movie release, I’ll be covering each BTS member’s solo song in order—starting with Jungkook’s “Begin.”
The number “15” in the title represents the age when he began his journey as a trainee. A boy who had nothing, awakening through the power of sound.
Today, Jungkook posted the emoji 😊 (25) and 🎧 (319) on Instagram—it felt like a symbol of “musical telepathy.”
If silence was his language and sound was his prayer, then for Jungkook, music might have been the true voice of his soul.
“Begin” tells the story of a 15-year-old boy who breaks free from loneliness, finds his wings through music, and is reborn as “me.”
💫Translation (Excerpt)
At fifteen, I had nothing.
The world was far too big,
and I was so small.
I had no scent, nothing inside—
all I could do was pray.
I had my brothers.
I loved them.
They awakened feelings inside me,
and for the first time, I became “me.”
That’s why I am who I am now.
You made me begin.
Laugh with me.
When I see you cry,
I can’t bear it.
I want to cry for you,
but I can’t.
If you’re sad, if you’re in pain,
it hurts me even more.
You made me begin.
Cry with me.
Let’s cry, brother.
Let’s just cry.
Even if we don’t know the reason for the sadness,
it’s okay to cry.
Because—
You made me begin.
Fly with me.
🕊️Analysis ① Music = Telepathy, and the Prayer of Beginning
“Fifteen-year-old me” represents a soul at its starting point—empty, waiting for light. That first light came through his brothers, through music, through prayer.
“You made me begin” refers not only to the members and fans, but to sound itself—the resonance that awakened him.
🔥Analysis ② Brothers = The Cross of Light
“If my brother is sad, it hurts me even more.” This single line carries the heart of BTS as a family. Through their pain, Jungkook learned compassion—the sacred meaning of empathy. His cross was never loneliness; it was connection.
🌈Analysis ③ “To Fly” = Liberation of the Soul
The word “Fly” repeated at the end symbolizes a soul gaining wings. WINGS tells the story of fall and rebirth—sin and forgiveness. “Begin” marks the first flight.
🎧Analysis ④ Sound = The Proof of Awakening
The speaker on stage symbolizes the ear that hears truth through sound. The “sound dimension” of “3D” is an evolution of what began in “Begin.” Jungkook connects with his brothers, ARMY, and the world through sound— and in that moment, sound becomes prayer.
☀️Conclusion|“You Made Me Begin”
“Begin” is the prayer of a boy who had nothing but found love through his brothers. The brothers are guidance, the tears are forgiveness, and music is light. “You made me begin”— a message passed from Jungkook to BTS, and from BTS to ARMY: the Gospel of Rebirth.
💜My Feelings
I first learned about Jungkook in 2015. I often wonder how old he was then. I became ARMY in 2016, and it’s been almost ten years watching him grow.
He feels like a younger brother—or maybe a son. When I listen to his voice, my tears stop, even when I’m crying in frustration. It heals me deeply. 💜
Meeting Jungkook feels like a gift from God. Through him, I came to love the family bond within BTS even more. So I want to keep supporting them, as if they were my own family. I love their group songs the most, and I can’t wait for their comeback. 🌈
